During their 10 days in Copenhagen, the four participating photographers participated in and gained knowledge from as much as possible from the festival’s programme. Their residency in Copenhagen contained two main elements: A networking element as well as an educational element.
Amongst art walks and dinners, photographers had the opportunity to network with other photographers, IDE photographers as well as the photographers exhibiting at the festival, but they also visited a number of photography-related institutions. These institutions are considered to be representative for Danish photography and provided them with an insight to Danish culture and cultural identity. The ‘educational element’ consists of a school programme and a workshop programme for adults. For each programme the participants were recruited.
